SkillsFuture Funding (For Individuals)

SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) provides course fee subsidy for Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents (PR) on SkillsFuture approved courses. This will be applicable to both self-sponsored and company-sponsored applicants. Individuals can offset the remaining course fees using their SkillsFuture Credit. Eligible individuals can further benefit from other SSG’s subsidies up to 90% via SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy (MCES). Refer to Table 1:

SCs and PRs (Self-Sponsored individuals must be at least 21 years old)

SkillsFuture Funding (For Employers)

What is SkillsFuture Credit?

Introduced in 2015, SkillsFuture Credit is a scheme that encourages skills deepening or reskilling into new areas outside of your current field. All Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above will receive an opening credit of $500.

Guide to claim SkillsFuture Credit

Downloading WSQ E-Certificate

Step 1: Visit MySkillsFuture.gov.sg

Step 2: Click on ‘Access E-Services’.

Step 3: Select ‘Download Certificates’ and you will be prompted to log in.

Step 4: Log in via Singpass and you will be redirected to the Skills Passport page, where you can view your list of learning achievements.

Step 5: Click on the specific record and click on the OpenCerts icon to download the respective certificates. A new browser tab for https://OpenCerts.io will open.

Step 6: Click on the “Print” button.

Step 7: Indicate “Save as PDF” in the destination.

Step 8: Under Pages: select “All”.

Step 9: Under Layout: select “Portrait”.

Step 10: Select “Save” to download a PDF copy of the certificate.

Step 11: Click “Save” to obtain a PDF copy of your digital certificate

Step 1: Visit MySkillsFuture.gov.sg.

Step 2: Click on ‘Access E-Services’.

Step 3: Select ‘Download Certificates’ and you will be prompted to log in.

Step 4: Click on ‘No Portal ID’ and enter the relevant information to retrieve your certificates. For ID Types:

  1. Select “Previous NRIC / FIN” for ex-Singaporean or FIN-hold
  2. Select “Passport Number/Foreign ID” for foreign passport or identification

Step 5: Then, select your preferred social media login to connect your account with your social media account to continue to access your certificates.

Step 6: After connecting to your social email account, you will be able to view and download your certificates from the “Certificates” tab of the Skills Passport moving forward. See next question below for steps to access Skills Passport.

Step 1: Visit MySkillsFuture.gov.sg.

Step 2: Click on ‘Access E-Services’.

Step 3: Select ‘Download Certificates’ and you will be prompted to log in.

Step 4: Click on “Portal ID” and login with your Portal ID and password.

Step 5: Then, go to “Profile” and connect your Portal ID with your social media account to continue to access your certificates.
