PROGRAMME INTRODUCTION

  • This degree brings new elements of tourism to the fore, combining International Tourism and Hospitality Management and other key factors related to the entertainment arena.
  • The modules are stimulating and thought-provoking, covering essential and specialist business themes. Students will also study strategic thinking, tourism, contemporary issues in hospitality management and strategic marketing.
  • The International Tourism and Hospitality Management degree provides practical opportunities to develop students’ creativity, resourcefulness, curiosity and ability to contribute to the ongoing growth of hospitality and tourism industry.
  • This is a top-up final year degree programme for SHRM Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management graduates.
  • The programme includes 4 modules and 1 dissertation to be conducted over 3 semesters in 12 months.
  • 1 semester = 4 months

Full-time: 12 months

  • The programme is conducted on a face-to-face basis.
  • Teaching ratio 1:66 for lecture and tutorial class
  • Assessment is continuous throughout each term and may include essays, presentations, coursework, report, and case study.

Upon passing all the modules, the student will be awarded Bachelor of Arts (Hons) International Tourism and Hospitality Management (Top-up) by Wrexham University, UK

  • SHRM Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management or Equivalent.
  • Applicants must be at least 19 years old by 31 December in the year of enrolment.
  • All applications are subject to university’s assessment of eligibility for entry into the programme.
  • IELTS 6.0 or Equivalent for non- native speaker and students not advancing from SHRM Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent qualifications.
